>> PROJECT BRIEF:
I’m a freelance illustrator for a design agency. I need to create an aadvertisement for a new client in the watch industry. I was assigned to design and produce a full color advertisement using a highly rendered interpretation and supporting imagery for their new watch. The illustration will be used on a billboard for a future event, so a vector image will need to be created in Adobe Illustrator. I was required to experiment with various techniques to create realistic interpretations of products.
>> RESPONSE:
To create a magazine advertisement, you need a high-quality vector illustration that accurately depicts the product, and at least one secondary raster image that has been processed and relevant to the advertisement.
Exquisitely crafted, the coordination of lines, light and shadow is very important. Find the right angle of light, and the gradient function can express the hierarchy of your work.
